Join our discussions at the E-library
One of the key aims of Connect in Care is to share knowledge and resources across a wide range of staff involved in the care of older people. This can be done online through the NHS e-library shared space where there are resources to be accessed, events to find out about and discussions groups to follow and contribute to. Connect in Care resources can be found there as part of the Improving Care for Older People Shared Space and we would encourage you to join us and see what's on offer.
Once you have joined, you will become one of the many members of the Connect in Care Network.
Connect in Care shares the Improving Care for Older People shared space with:
- My Home Life (www.myhomelife.org.uk/)
- The Care Commission (Care Home Learning Network, CHLN) (www.carecommission.com/).
The three projects work closely to share information and resources.
To join the Improving Care for Older People Shared Space there are two steps to be taken:
1. You need to apply for an Athens password. To do this, click here (if you already have an Athens password go straight to step 2).
2. Once you receive your password, you will then be able to access the shared area. To go there please click here. |
Once you have joined the Improving Care for Older People Shared Space, this allows you access to:
- Resources
- Find articles of interest
- Follow discussions on particular topics
- Keep up to date with events
- Participation in these discussions
- Receive email alerts when your selected topics of interest are updated
